One can check the status of their UIDAI, but also download the same if the number has been generated using e-Aadhaar.
Anyone who has enrolled for Aadhaar can simply log on to www.uidai.gov.in to know about their Aadhaar status after 20 days of enrolment.
All one needs to do is enter the 14-digit enrolment number and 28-digit date and time of enrolment.
These 28 digits together form your temporary Enrolment ID.
In case the status of a person shows Aadhaar has been approved, the person can download the e-Aadhaar from http://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in. In case their Aadhaar status, shows, ‘in process’ or ‘data not found’, the person should wait for 15 days and again log on to http://uidai.gov.in/check-your-aadhaar-status.html
